Nicoletta Ceccoli

Celebrated Italian illustrator, Nicole Ceccoli, describes her work as "mischievous mysteries of sensuous". The doll-like expressions of her central characters poignantly convey a dream-like state where the line between the dark side and sweetness is often blurred.

A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts Urbino in Italy where she studied the craft of animation, Nicoletta has more than 30 children's book titles to her credit and has exhibited her work throughout the world. She is a multi-award winning illustrator with numerous accolades and honors including the Society of Illustrator's Silver Medal and the Anderson Prize for Best Illustrator in Italy.
